In this course you will gain a deeper appreciation for the Italian wines of Tuscany. You will discover Tuscany’s long history in winemaking and learn about the different wine styles influenced by the climate, terroir, grapes and winemaking techniques.
You will uncover the stories that shaped the wines in Chianti and explore their different classifications. You will know the origins of the rebellious “Super Tuscan” wines and how they developed in Bolgheri. You will also explore other important wines from Tuscany like Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and taste typical examples of the wines you learned about in the course.
Enjoy a guided tasting of five classic examples across Tuscany you have covered in the course led by certified wine educators, in a relaxed and interactive setting. This intensive course is 2 hours long and is suitable for intermediate and advanced level wine enthusiasts and professionals.
In the event of course cancellations, please notify Grape Secrets a minimum of eight 8 days before the course by email (info@grapesecrets.com). The candidate will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the course / re-sit fees via bank transfer within 7 days under the following circumstances.
Should notice of cancellation be received less than eight (8) days before the course / start date, the candidate will forfeit their entire course fee. Non-attendance of the course will also result in forfeiture of the candidate’s course.
